Node.js setup guide

Set up Node.js with Prilog using documented prerequisites, installation, configuration, verification, and review steps.

Prerequisites

A Prilog account, a connected repository, and a Node.js application. The documented TypeScript preload example requires Node.js 22.18 or later.

Install

Install @prilog/monitoring using the Node.js SDK guide.

Configure

Provision a monitoring connection, keep its DSN in PRILOG_DSN, and initialize before application imports. Follow the initialization example.

Verify

Inspect incoming telemetry in Prilog for the configured service. If no data arrives, follow monitoring troubleshooting.

Next Steps

Read the full Node.js reference, then generate and review a fix. Review the diff and CI before merging.
