Claude & Codex plugins

Use Prilog from your coding agent with a shared skill, the local CLI, and an authorized hosted MCP connection.

Availability

The Prilog plugins have been submitted to the Claude and Codex directories and are awaiting approval. Directory installation is not yet generally available. This page does not assume an approved listing or provide a store link.

You can use the CLI today in command-enabled environments, or connect a supported OAuth-capable assistant directly through hosted MCP.

What the plugin provides

The plugin bundles a shared Prilog skill and hosted MCP configuration. The skill guides an agent through project selection, error inspection, user-supplied log uploads, public GitHub issue imports, fix generation, diff review, and requested pull request creation.

The shared source is Prilog-ai/prilog-cli. The Claude package lives in plugins/prilog; the shared skill lives in skills/prilog.

Directory approval and account-specific availability are separate from access to Prilog itself. Until approval, follow the CLI or MCP setup below.

Coding agents with a terminal

Install and authenticate the CLI, select the intended project, and connect the repository before asking an agent to operate on it:

prilog login
prilog projects
prilog use-project "Payments"
prilog add-repo

Agents can use prilog --json --project-id PROJECT_UUID ... for structured results. In command-enabled environments the Prilog skill uses the CLI. Resolve CLI authentication or repository setup failures before continuing.

Example requests:

  • “List the pending errors in my Payments project and explain the most recent one.”
  • “Upload this selected log file to Payments, then show me the error IDs.”
  • “Generate a fix for this error and show me its diff.”
  • “Create a pull request for the fix I reviewed.”

Hosted assistants through MCP

Use this endpoint in a client that supports remote Streamable HTTP MCP and Prilog's OAuth consent flow:

https://prilog.ai/api/mcp

Authorize the organization, projects, and capabilities you want to grant. The hosted connector operates on existing authorized projects; create projects and connect repositories in Prilog or through the CLI first. See the MCP reference for tool inputs and retry behavior.

Agent workflow

  1. Discover accessible projects and identify the project requested by the user.
  2. Read the error and its current state. Upload only the content the user selected or supplied.
  3. Request analysis when asked, and report that it is asynchronous.
  4. Inspect the generated diff when available.
  5. Create a pull request when publication was requested, and return its observed URL.

The plugin does not merge or deploy. Analysis follows project automation settings and may use the project's billing allowance. Revoke a hosted connection in Settings → Account → Connected apps.
