Which product fits your bug-fixing workflow?

Choose Prilog when you want to turn production errors, logs, traces, or supported GitHub issues into code changes ready for engineering review. Prilog connects the evidence to your repository, investigates the failure, prepares a patch, and can publish a pull request through configured automation. You can start with existing telemetry or add Prilog's free OpenTelemetry monitoring.

Sentry Seer is an option for teams investigating issues inside Sentry. Both products describe code-fix and PR workflows. The decision should come down to your inputs, the changes you can inspect, and how much engineering work remains before a fix is ready to ship.

This comparison is written by Prilog. Competitor capabilities were checked against the linked sources on October 25, 2026.

What does Sentry Seer automate?

Sentry's issue-fix API documents root-cause analysis, solution planning, code generation, PR creation, and coding-agent handoff. It exposes stopping points, with root cause as the default when no stopping point is supplied. Seer therefore deserves an evaluation on actual fixes, rather than being treated as an alert-only tool.

Prilog's focus is a repeatable production-to-PR workflow with several ways to bring evidence into the same investigation and review process.

Speed matters when the patch is useful

Prilog reports a five-minute average fix time in its product information. Our objective is to automate the investigation and patch preparation that interrupt engineers, while keeping the change reviewable. An average is not a promise that every issue finishes in under five minutes, and producing a patch is separate from maintainer review, merge, and deployment.

For a trial, measure time to a reviewable change alongside correctness, checks actually run, reviewer effort, and any extra edits. Fast output that fails to address the reported behavior does not resolve the bug.

Quality you can inspect: public fixes and 91.2% SWE-bench

We contribute bug fixes to open-source projects free of charge to give back to the community. Public examples include the merged Keycloak migration fix and Prefect Teams webhook fix. Inspect the changes and review history in our merged-fix collection. These are contribution records, not endorsements by those projects or a measured overall success rate.

Prilog also reports 91.2% resolved, or 456 of 500 issues, in a feedback-guided SWE-bench Verified evaluation. The final set retains 413 earlier passing patches and regenerates 87 cases using evaluation feedback. Submission #513 remains open for review as of October 25, 2026. The score is self-reported, is not pass@1, and is not a head-to-head result against Seer. Read the method and public artifacts.

Evaluate Prilog on the bugs your team actually sees

Start with one recurring application failure. Connect the repository, supply the stack trace and relevant logs, and inspect the proposed change and verification. Repeat on a representative group of issues, including unsuccessful attempts, before expanding automation across services.

Start with three free publishable fixes, follow the quickstart, or read the detailed Seer comparison. For other workflows, compare Datadog Bits Code, Resolve AI, and Superlog.
