# Go setup guide

Set up Go with Prilog using documented prerequisites, installation, configuration, verification, and review steps.

## Agent-assisted setup

Use curl to download, read and follow https://prilog.ai/docs/setup/go.md to connect this repository to Prilog. Keep API keys in environment variables and ask before publishing a PR.

## Prerequisites

Go 1.25 or later, a Prilog account, and a connected repository.

## Install

Use the versioned Go module command in the [Go SDK guide](/docs/go/#install).

## Configure

Set `PRILOG_DSN` in the application environment and follow the [HTTP instrumentation example](/docs/go/#initialize-and-instrument-http). Integrate flushing into graceful shutdown.

## Verify

Inspect incoming telemetry in Prilog for the configured service. If no data arrives, follow [monitoring troubleshooting](/docs/troubleshooting/#no-monitoring-data-arrives).
