# GitHub Issues setup guide

Set up GitHub Issues with Prilog using documented prerequisites, installation, configuration, verification, and review steps.

## Agent-assisted setup

Use curl to download, read and follow https://prilog.ai/docs/setup/github-issues.md to connect this repository to Prilog. Keep API keys in environment variables and ask before publishing a PR.

## Prerequisites

A Prilog account and a connected fork for an open public upstream GitHub issue. See [issue import requirements](/docs/github-issue-to-pr/).

## Install

Install and sign in with the Prilog CLI using the [Quickstart](/docs/quickstart/).

## Configure

Select the project and connect the fork, then follow the [documented issue-import workflow](/docs/github-issue-to-pr/). Review the issue and repository scope before requesting a fix.

## Verify

Use `prilog status` to confirm project selection, then inspect imported errors with `prilog list pending`.

## Next Steps

Read the [full GitHub Issues reference](/docs/github-issue-to-pr/), then [generate and review a fix](/docs/quickstart/). Review the diff and CI before merging.
